ACG & Mental Athletic present PSYCHO NATURAL

Paris, June 25 — On the occasion of the launch of Issue #5’s limited-edition cover, ACG & Mental Athletic join forces to present PSYCHO NATURAL, a film and print exhibition held at the studio space of AVOIR in Paris—which also conceived the exhibition’s spatial design.

Envisioned as a living, breathing ecosystem, the installation unfolds as a total environment—a speculative sci-fi proposition in which natural and digital realms merge into a new, integrated sphere of existence.

The project originates from ACG’s Psycho Natural cover story for the current issue of Mental Athletic, where a lysergic landscape is intertwined with digital vapors and early internet imagery. On a parallel, editorial layer, an atlas of living things emerges, bridging Psycho Natural’s collective digital memory—the creative collective behind the brand—onto the printed page.

At the core of the exhibition lies a focus on the often invisible yet profoundly generative world of fungi—a planetary resource of increasing significance. Sharing a rhizomatic logic with digital and synthetic systems, they are actively reshaping fields as diverse as technology, nutrition, and psychological therapy.

Central to the installation is a poetic video essay, premiering on this occasion. Developed in collaboration between Mental Athletic and ACG, the work expands on the exhibition’s themes through a suspended, atmospheric language, tracing a journey at the threshold between the real and the digital, drawing from a wide range of utopian visual and literary references

Surrounding this core element, organic materials—including fungal growths—actively inhabit and transform the space, evolving its appearance day by day. During the event, a curated selection of drinks inspired by the same mycological concept will offer visitors a chance to further explore the vast potential of this invisible sphere

Bespoke merchandise by Mental Athletic and ACG will complete the experience, alongside the limited-edition ACG Psycho Natural cover, available for the first time on this occasion.
