OFF-GRID COMPANIONS

Margot and Elena evade the city and wander through the hyper-designed spaces of the villes nouvelles, experiments in urban planning that have marked the way we experience urban environments as we understand them today. A journey in which emptiness is a connective space between two emotional lives and displacement is a vector energy that crosses the city almost to the point of getting lost. Adidas accompanied the two girls in this planned lostness, seen through the experimental narrative sensibility of Paul Herrmann.

They drift through non-places, under sodium lights and beside brutalist skeletons, collecting gestures, glances, and static noise. Fragments of a reality that refuses definition, looping endlessly in post-urban reverie. Somewhere between delay and disappearance, they dissolve into the architecture - a quiet glitch in the system, never fully there, never fully gone.
